WHITEFIELD international footballer, Trevor Sinclair will be guest of honour at the launch of a new ball zone in Prestwich.
Trevor, who attended Mersey Drive Primary School as a youngster, now plays for Manchester City and England.
He will officially open St Mary's ball zone on Thursday at 6pm, where he will be joined by talented youngsters from Marauders junior football team and the Mayor of Bury, Coun Wilf Davison.
The ball zone, funded by Bury Council, is situated in St Mary's Park, Bury New Road, and features a state-of-the-art all-weather pitch for football, netball and basketball.
Trevor will also be giving some footballing tips to youngsters to spur them on to be the soccer stars of the furture.
