ASTLEY and Tyldesley were the latest side to fell the full power of Bolton Association leaders Elton.
The unbeaten Bury side made it six wins out of seven with a seven wicket success with a massive 12 overs to spare.
Mark Goddard gave A&T a tough time when they batted. He collected five wickets as A&T struggled to 159-8 after an opening stand of 50. Mike Cutt top scored with 71.
But with ex-Lancashire player Dexter Fitton hitting an unbeaten 90, Elton were home with plenty to spare.
There was more of a thrilling finish at Standish where Atherton had to sweat it out for only their second win of the season.
Chasing Standish's 189-7 (Crookson 64, Edleston 40no and Hassan 40), Atherton lost two wickets in the final over and needed two of the last ball to win. Phil Wakefield's shot didn't get off the square but poor fielding allowed Atherton to scramble the two they needed.
Earlier Atherton had got off to a good start with 16-year-old Karl Brown hitting 67 and Phil West 46. Neil Bannister chipped in with 23 while Wakefield's unbeaten 22 was mightily important.
Golborne's clash with Edgworth ended in a draw.
Graham Marston hit 44 and pro Reyman Shah 32 as Golborne made 181-7. Edgworth needed five off the last over and two off the last ball.
