AN Atherton company has retained a £371,000 contract to supply protective clothing to the Ministry of Defence over the next three years.
Cosalt:Ballyclare, of Swan Island, Arley Way, which has been protecting Army, Navy and RAF Aircrews against the elements for the past 10 years will provide jackets, trousers and waistcoats designed for wet, cold weather and desert conditions.
Sales manager for the police and MOD division, Arlene Hackett, said: "Each item has been manufactured to meet the exact specifications provided to us by the MOD and we are all very pleased with the resulting range.
"This has been an exciting and challenging project for the company which has further strengthened our relationship."
