GOALKEEPER Jon Kennedy has backed team-mate Andy Procter to make a name for himself on the international scene.
Accrington Stanley midfielder Procter is expected to make his England National Game XI debut tonight in a 'goodwill' game with Iraq at Macclesfield's Moss Rose (kick off 7.30pm).
And Kennedy, who was also been named in the squad, believes this could be the start of a promising international career for the 21-year-old.
"Andy is still young enough to play for a couple of years at this level," Kennedy said.
"If he does well tonight he could be one of the main players for England.
"He is a consistent player who, even if he isn't having one of his better games, you know will he still be working hard."
