I AM pleased to see the new "super hospital" at Queen's Park, Blackburn, gradually taking shape. But I am also surprised to have read one or two negative views from people.
Recently, someone labelled it a "monstrosity." Surely they should take into account the fact that, in a few years, that "monstrosity" will be helping to save lives -- and will benefit the community.
We should feel lucky to have a super hospital in the borough, as this will save people from going further afield to receive specialist treatment.
I, for one, will be happy to see the new hospital up and running.
