ONE of Burnley FC's most famous fans has risked the wrath of fellow supporters after confessing he doesn't hate fierce rivals Blackburn Rovers.
Alastair Campbell, the Prime Minister's former press secretary, made the admission during an ITV football documentary.
Soccer Stories featured tales of the religious fervour of fans attached to clubs across the North West and included a frank interview with Alastair in the bar at Turf Moor.
He told an interviewer: "I'm going to upset a few Burnley fans here but I don't hate Blackburn. But I have a wry smile if they are doing badly. I like to have the passion for something, as much as the passion against."
