THEY have taken the heart out of Whitefield. But there is one lady, with a heart of gold, working night and day for the good of this community.
Mrs Mavis Warner, along with friends Mr and Mrs Berry, has got the community centre going again. Bulldozers can flatten property but you can't flatten people's spirit. Thank-you Mavis.
