STRIKER Danny Carlton, has completed negotiations with the Shrimps and signed a new three year extension to his contract.
The 20-year-old who has come through manager Jim Harvey's Academy system at Lancaster and Morecambe College, scored 21 goals in 31 starts for the Shrimps last season.
And he is happy to stay at Christie Park, saying: "I love playing at Morecambe and now I have the chance to work hard and acheive my full potential here under Jim Harvey."
E Carlton has been called into the squad for the England National Game XI to play Iraq at Macclesfield Town's Moss Rose ground next week. He joins Morecambe team-mates Dave Perkins and Gary Thompson in the squad.
