BURNLEY Moto GP rider Neil Hodgson is hoping that spending time in a decompression chanber will help him win his fitness race.
A crash at Le Mans two weeks ago left Hodgson with cracked ribs and vertebrae and he is now struggling to be fit in time to ride at Mugello in Italy in eight days time.
Hodgson has not enjoyed the best of starts having moved to Ducati's Grand Prix team and Le Mans was just another setback for last year's World Superbike champion.
"Le Mans was just another case of bad luck spoiling what was otherwise a really good weekend for me," said Hodgson.
"Crashing is never good and it was bad enough that I didn't get any points again, but it got worse when I realised that I hadn't just winded myself in the accident."
