BURY'S early season Manchester Association woes continued at the weekend after they were hammered at Winton.
Batting first, Winton made the Bury bowlers toil after losing both openers cheaply to Richardson (2-15).
However, this brought the home side's professional to the crease and Khan stroked an unbeaten 116.
Khan was ably supported by Jadhow and the Winton side set Bury a tough total of 206 to win.
Bury struggled to build partnerships and only professional Nick Kennedy (61), Brown (23) and Belston (32) reached double figures in a limp effort of 154-8.
Meanwhile, BROOKSBOTTOMS finally got their season back on track at the weekend.
Things didn't go to script early on as the Brox batsmen got tied down and they reached 145-6 desperately needing some big hitting from the wagging tail of the lower order.
Josh Pellows obliged with an impressive half-century and he ably assisted by Gareth Williams and Richard Ernill; with the final ten overs producing 86 scintillating runs.
The final total of 248 certainly looked impressive and it soon proved almost insurmountable.
Tommy Read and Pellows did the damage with a devastating opening burst.
In recent weeks, Read has been short of luck but a quick four-wicket salvo rendered the visitors chase of Brox's target academic.
With Pellows and Williams each weighing in with a brace, the bowlers were well on top despite heroic resistance from Hampton.
Hampton's efforts look to have thwarted Brox's bid for the maximum points but Read returned to the attack and earned his side maximum points.
