SCOTT Greaves has taken over the captaincy at Rishton following Jonathon Dobson's sudden decision to retire from the game.
Dobson announced he was quitting earlier this week and Greaves will take the reins in his absence until the end of the season.
"I wasn't enjoying it anymore," said Dobson, who played his last game for the club against Bacup on Sunday.
"It was starting to take up too much of my time. As captain, you're expected to attend every training session and I could no longer commit to training twice a week and playing on Saturdays and Sundays.
"To be honest, I'd been thinking about packing it in for a bit.
"When I was out injured, I'd didn't miss it so now I'm just looking forward to playing a few rounds of golf at the weekends instead."
Greaves has previous experience of the captaincy, having stepped in for Dobson earlier in the season and he will be looking to mastermind a victory when RISHTON take on Church tomorrow at Blackburn Road.
CHURCH duo Andrew Bentley and Greenwood will return for that game. Mark Gilrane and Peter Rowbottom stand down.
Struggling BURNLEY choose from the same squad for tomorrow's daunting trio to Lowerhouse, with the exception of David Connolly who drops out.
Ben Heap steps in for Matt Hope for LOWERHOUSE, who are looking for a repeat of their derby win over Burnley earlier in the season.
RAWTENSTALL have been boosted by the return of John Dawson for the trip to Haslingden.
Dawson, who missed the home match against Lowerhouse due to work commitments, will replace Rizwan Shafiq.
HASLINGDEN retain the services of sub pro Rohan Gavaskar, and skipper Paul Blackledge said: "We're confident after two good wins last week, when we bowled exceptionally well."
ENFIELD will be hoping history repeats istelf when they make the short trip to Accrington's Thorneyholme Road.
For the Dill Hall Lane side beat Accrington in the Switch to Switch Worsley Cup first round on May 9.
And, having lost their first eight league games, will be looking to get on the winning trail sooner rather than later.
But ACCRINGTON, who were boosted by some impressive batting from Zed Afzal and Graeme Sneddon in their win at Todmorden last weekend, are out for revenge.
Vice captain Damien Clarke said: "I think we all look forward to games against Enfield because they're usually quite close games."
COLNE have a full strength squad to pick from for the local derby clash at Nelson.
All-rounder Jeff Ellis comes back in to contention after missing the match against Bacup due to work commitments.
NELSON are expected to field an unchanged side.
Robert Read comes in for injury-hit RAMSBOTTOM at Bacup, a side manager Mike Everett has described as: "Always dangerous and extremely hard to beat."
BACUP will be missing Steve Crowe, with Andrew Spencer deputising.
David Ormerod has already taken 26 wickets, and Bacup manager Alick Ormerod, said: "He's producing some of the best bowling of his career. Last week, he allowed only four runs in his first 11 overs."
EAST LANCS are likely to name an unchanged side for their trip to Todmorden.
The defending champions are in need of a spark to ignite their title challenge after slipping to a fourth defeat of the season against Rawtenstall last week.
TODMORDEN will be hoping that their young side can produce a home win after their narrow defeat at Centre Vale against Accrington last Sunday.
