MAKE a Wish is a charity that grants wishes for children between three and 18 who live with life-threatening conditions.
A wish can be anything from meeting a favourite pop star to having a palace in the back garden.
It is a truly joyous organisation that puts smiles onto children's and their families faces and magic into their lives at a time when they desperately need it.
However, we are quite a low-profile charity preferring to spend our funds on the wishes rather than advertising.
I know that many speaker's secretaries are currently arranging their calendars for next year and with this in mind I am appealing to any clubs or societies who would like me to come and give a presentation to their members about the work of the charity.
I am available on 07801 446099.
