POLICE are appealing for information about the last known movements of a man whose body was discovered in a brook in Leigh, in April.
Andrew Bell, aged 28, absconded from Kirkham Prison in Lancashire in February and was last seen on March 6, in the Leigh area.
His body was recovered by the Underwater Search Unit in Westleigh Brook, Nel Pan Lane, Leigh, on Friday, April 8.
Officers are trying to trace his movements between March 6 and 28, and anyone who saw Andrew or has any information about his whereabouts during that time is asked to contact Leigh CID on 0161 856 7251.
