SCHOOLCHILDREN in Blackburn will be letting their feet do the talking when they take part in a national Guinness Book of Records bid.
Asda Blackburn have joined forces with Audley Infant School to take part in a national walking bus scheme on Wednesday, June 16, which is expected to include more than 14,000 children across the UK.
The scheme aims to promote child pedestrian safety and to raise funds for BRAKE, a national road safety charity which supports people bereaved in road crashes.
Accrington Road Safety Unit are also getting involved.
The children will walk from their school, in Queens Park Road, to the Asda store, where they will stop for a short refreshment break, before walking back to school.
