STAFF at Asda, in Accrington, are raising money for a disabled people's charity by wearing football shirts to work.
Staff at the Hyndburn Road store are allowed to wear their favourite team top on June 17 in return for making a £1 donation to Motability, which assists disabled people with cars, driving lessons and wheelchairs.
Customers are also being invited to do the same.
Store manager Mark Wrigley said: "There's lots of football fans working here. Although we might not all be gunning for the same team, we want to raise money for a good cause."
Motability fund-raising director Hazel Gotfraind said the proceeds would help prevent disabled people being housebound, or reliant on others for transport.
