STUDENTS from Bedford High School in Leigh enjoyed an Oscars-style ceremony of their own.
Year 11 pupils showcased films they have made at Manchester's Printworks Cinema at the 'Bedford Film Festival', where representatives from local businesses will judge awards across three categories: 'Best Film', 'Best Script' and 'Best Cinematography'.
Nicola Tootle from Wigan's Education Business Partnership says: "It's not quite the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, but it was an exciting day which inspired the students and celebrate their hard work.
"Pupils spent the best part of two years preparing to showcase their work and it demonstrated to businesses the talent and dedication of young people in the borough."
