A VILLAGE handicrafts treat is on the cards -- to help raise funds for church renovations.
Old and new skills will be revealed at the June 12 and 13 Thanksgiving Festival at Christ Church in Lady Lane, Croft.
The new pastimes of tea bag and iris folding and quilling are included in a long list of hobbies which will go on show in the church and church hall.
Event co-ordinator and Church warden Sheila Carr has arranged an impressive display including cross stitching, beadwork, silver jewellery, card making and sugar craft.
And villager Alan Williams will show his locomotive kit building skills.
A service at 10am on Saturday will start proceedings with the exhibitions be open between 10.30am and 4.30pm and from 12.30pm to 4.30pm on Sunday. Admission is £1.
