A LEIGH high school has won its second glittering arts award.
Bedford High will again receive Artsmark Silver for its commitment to the development of art, music, drama and dance.
Museum, theatre and art gallery visits plus school workshops involving pupils and the cast of Blood Brothers and a Shakespeare Company.
The heads of departments are delighted with the award and plan to take a coach party of children to collect it.
Head teacher, Mr Steve Preston, said: "We are a specialist business and enterprise college, but this award shows we are committed to supporting all elements of the curriculum. We will be extending our arts opportunities in the future."
