A CENTRE which has helped thousands of people into jobs, college, and training courses, celebrated its tenth anniversary this week.
Managers at Brookhouse Access point in Whalley Range, Blackburn, joined their Darwen colleagues, who also recently marked the milestone.
A celebration was organised by staff, and centre manager Gordon Howley praised those who helped to make the project a success.
He said: "The number of people Brookhouse has helped is phenomenal.
"How they deal with so many people is a credit to the staff and has been for the past ten years."
Peter Morgan, Blackburn with Darwen Council's education director, also heaped praise on the centre.
In a speech he said: "Brookhouse is probably our busiest access point and I want to congratulate staff."
