A SUGGESTION to all those people who, for reasons best known to themselves, will not be voting on June 10.
If you consider that they are all the same or just cannot be bothered to vote then you are missing an opportunity to make your voice heard.
If you have lost faith with the politicians currently in power then vote for someone else, anyone else, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO, but use your vote. It may not stop the incumbent from being re-elected but it will send a clear message if their rivals get more votes than expected.
It really is time that we, the electorate, used our awesome power to get the sort of representatives that we want, who will strive for us and not just their political party and themselves.
The politician that we vote into office will be using OUR HARD EARNED MONEY so use your vote to elect a person who will work for us. By voting for any of the candidates rather than the usual three parties you will send the incumbents a very clear message that if they don't buck their collective ideas up, next time we will vote them out of office. Use your vote.
J BUCKLEY, Holden Fold, Darwen.
