A LORRY driver who was killed after her HGV careered off a slip road on the M60 and hit a tree has been named.
Wendy Louise Aldred, aged 31, of Hough Lane, Tyldesley, lost control on the northbound carriageway at Junction 5 on Thursday just after 5am.
She was killed instantly in the collision.
Parts of the M60 were sealed off as a result of the accident, which caused chaos in the morning rush hour.
She worked for Exel Automotive which is based at Trafford park, Manchester.
