A SCALE model of what the multi-million pound Tithebarn development could look like has gone on show at Preston Minster this week.
The 1:100 scale model is the final year project of a fine art student from the University of Central Lancashire.
Louise Janvier, 41, spent ten months putting the models together as part of her final year project that examines the way sculpture can be used to explore the public arena.
The model features Preston landmarks such as the Guild Hall and the outdoor market and new concepts like the planned Preston bus station.
Mrs Janvier mounted all the models on wheels when she found out the location for the new bus station had not been decided.
"It has been a lot of fun and hard work, and I hope people in Preston enjoy what I have done," said the mother-of-two from Southport.
"My children and my husband have been really supportive and been a tremendous help."
Although the project is not an illustration of how Preston City Council and Grosvenor property developers envisage Tithebarn, nor a public consultation exercise, Mrs Janvier will pass on feedback about her project to the developers.
Mrs Janvier, a former psychiatric nurse, who is studying for a masters next year at the university, received £500 from the Tom Buckroyd award, which is given each year to a community fine art project.
The models will also be available to see at the fine art degree show at the university's Victoria building, Adelphi Street, Preston, from June 12-18.
