ENTERPRISING twins Nick and Scott Oates have set up their own website in a bid to find work for the summer holidays
The 14-year-olds teamed up with their mum when they got fed up of applying for the usual shelf-stacking jobs.
Together they designed an Internet site which lists their interests, out-of-school activities and skills, and they plan on e-mailing a link to the site to employers.
The boys hope their initiative will land them a job with some responsibility.
Mum Carol Masheder, 50, said: "I have put the site together, and they have made it like an advert for themselves. It's an innovative way to get some part-time employment.
"They do a lot of extra-curricular stuff and they have put something in saying they need someone to be flexible because they do a lot of things like Boys' Brigade."
The twins, of Exchange Street, Accrington, go to Moorhead High School. Out of school they belong to the Boys' Brigade, and take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. They are looking for an employer who will take their busy schedules into account.
The website does not show pictures of the boys, but lists their school commitments, including their German GCSEs.
There is also a page which sets out the number of hours they are allowed to work under the law, and an e-mail address to get in touch.
Scott said: "We are looking for anything that will give us some responsibility -- not a paper round, and with good pay hopefully!"
Carol said: "They would consider most things. They're very responsible, very good at school, and mature for their age.
"Now it's just a matter of getting people's e-mail addresses."
