WE are reaching a crossroads with our membership with the EU.
We have to decide whether we want to be governed by a new country called Europe, of which we would ultimately become a province or whether we prefer to become an independent nation state, governing ourselves.
Remember, when we joined we were told it was a "Common Market." Not common government.
It is as well to remember that unemployment in France and Germany is twice as high as here.
D BULLEN (Mr), Albany Road, Blackburn.
