ROY Morris, 35, of Beatrice Place, Blackburn, was fined £200 with £55 costs and disqualified from driving for 20 months by Blackburn magistrates after pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol.
Morris, who gave a reading of 87 against the legal limit of 35, agreed to be referred to the drink drive rehabilitation programme which could reduce his ban by up to 25 per cent.
Kevin Preston, defending, said the ban would cause Morris considerable job difficulties.
