IN the two years since Padiham Town Council was formed I have been welcomed to their monthly meetings.
It has been a pleasure to see hesitant individuals, politically naive, grow in knowledge and confidence to form the cohesive group that is now Padiham Town Council.
The nettle has been firmly grasped and become a baton which has already been waved to great effect in the town.
The people of Padiham can feel firstly proud of their council who is now on the road to making Padiham one of the foremost market towns in England.
