SADDLED up and ready to go for her donkey ride is three-year-old Rose Turner at Park View Primary School's summer fair.
The youngster was one of many guests who enjoyed the attractions at the Prestwich school last Saturday .
Hundreds of people attended the event throughout the day and all the hard work before hand paid off as the organisers made almost £3,000 on the day.
Deputy headteacher Tony Knipe said: "This was a magnificent amount. We usually do well but not this well!
"The PTA has not yet decided what to spend the money on but it has recently been re-stocking the library. The day was a huge success. We bought 400 hot dog sausages and sold out in no time."
Attractions included a circus workshop, inflatable assault course, field games and the very popular donkey rides.
