A SUMMER fair will be held at Birch Hall Care Centre in Darwen on Sunday, June 27, to raise money for entertainment.
The event, which will include a tombola and raffle, will raise money to make sure that centre users -- both young and old -- get more help to improve their social lives through entertainment and trips out.
Organisers of the fair have asked for donations of unwanted board games, toys and teddies, which can be used for a tombola or raffle.
The 81-bed centre provides 24-hours-a-day care to elderly, vulnerable residents but also has a young disabled unit catering for children from across the area.
