LEIGH RMI, saved from relegation by the expulsion of Margate, who failed to overcome problems with their ground, have a tough start to their fifth season of Conference football.

They kick-off on August 14 with a home tie against newboys Crawley Town but that is followed by a tough midweek trip to Nigel Clough's Burton Albion on Tuesday, August 17, before the long trek to Surrey on the Saturday to play Woking.

And if that was not enough, there's a taxing weekend to follow with the visit of Halifax on Saturday, August 28, and a visit to Morecambe 48 hours later on Bank Holiday Monday.
