A GAMES area could be built in Earby in a bid to curb anti-social behaviour by youths.
Following a petition by a youth group to the West Craven Committee of Pendle Council a report was commissioned to investigate the possibility of building a multi use games area on land in Cemetery Road.
The report says the play area - which would cost £65,000 - would be at the same site as the new location for Pendle Croquet Club and would be similar to an area in Coates Avenue, Barnoldswick.
West Craven Committee will consider whether the scheme requires further consideration when it meets tonight.
