WHILE travelling along the new section of Barbara Castle Way recently I thought I had strayed into a time warp and landed in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
The scale and beauty of the flora, the bushes and trees was breathtaking. I have to say that it is the most impressive blend of landscaping I have ever seen.
The architect and the construction people involved in this enterprise (which I understand to be all borough employees) should be publicly commended for a brilliant job of work and the area should be listed as a summer tourist attraction.
