A FATHER of six who flouted a court order was given a last chance by magistrates who told him to think himself lucky.
House clearer Karl Greaves, 23, had twice breached a community punishment order, imposed for driving while disqualified, the Burnley bench heard.
Greaves, of Wordsworth Avenue, Padiham, admitted failing to comply with the order. He was given a three-month curfew order, seven days a week, between 8pm and 6am. The community punishment order was revoked.
Chairman James McGowan told the defendant he had been "looking down the barrel" of custody. He went on: "The court will not tolerate people who breach community orders. You are a lucky young man today."
The court was told Greaves had completed nearly 60 of the 200 hours imposed.
Graeme Tindall, defending, said Greaves was in a relationship and had taken on a great deal of responsibility. He had six children to care for. He hoped to earn as much money as he could to do that and worked six days a week.
