A HEAD master is gearing up for his last official function -- when he greets a royal guest.
Stuart Holt will be retiring at the end of term after 13 years at Clitheroe Royal Grammar.
And his last engagement will be welcoming Prince Andrew next Thursday.
"We are absolutely delighted and it is a very nice way for me personally to round off all my responsibilities, " said Mr Holt.
The Royal visit marks 450th anniversary of the school.
Prince Andrew will arrive at the Chatburn Road school at 10.30am and is to plant a tree in one of the school's courtyards.
