R BLAND (Letters, June 25) speaks for him or herself in the letter about the Ribble and Calder bridge.
I am satisfied with the substantial design of the bridge and its proposed location and eagerly await its construction to open up some excellent circular walks.
On this occasion only, as a council tax payer, I am happy to pay my share towards the cost of this amenity.
