ASTRONAUT Helen Sharmon dropped in on Blackburn to speak about her experiences as the only Briton ever to go into space.
She told students at Westholme School of her adventures during 18 months of training before being selected for the shuttle flight and of the incredible feeling of weightlessness when outside the Earth's atmosphere.
