AN UNRULY schoolboy has been made subject of a two-year Anti Social Behaviour Order to try and keep him in the straight and narrow.
David Geddes, 15, whose address in Nelson a court ordered should not be revealed, had the order imposed by Burnley magistrates.
The court found the teenager had acted in an anti-social manner which caused or was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to people not living in the same household as him. His conduct had included vehicle crime, burglary and harassment-type conduct on a regular basis.
Under the order Geddes is banned from stealing or attempting to steal any vehicle or pedal cycle or allowing himself to be driven in or carried on a stolen vehicle or a vehicle taken without the consent of its owner.
He is prohibited from associating with three named youths and must not commit burglaries, either of houses or commercial premises.
Geddes, who lives with his father, is also not allowed on any public road, street, thoroughfare or land, or private land, without the express permission of the owner, between 1am and 7am. The ban stands unless he is undertaking or travelling to or from any supervised activities with statutory agencies, parent or guardian.
