RAMSBOTTOM youngsters are being given the chance to take part in activities including bowling and ice skating over summer.
Young people aged 11 to 16 can join Bury and Rochdale's Active Generation (BRAG) summer activity programme.
For just £6 they will be able to take part in more than 150 activities during two weeks from Monday, August 2 to Friday, August 13.
Activities include swimming, bowling, ice skating, skiing, a tour of the Manchester United's Old Trafford museum, climbing and lots more.
Young people will receive a BRAG pass to gain entry to activities free and a diary of activities for them to plan which ones to attend.
They will also receive a two-week bus pass.
To sign up for the BRAG project, you will need to fill in an application form, which can be downloaded from the BRAG section of Bury Metropolitan Council's website at www.bury.gov.uk.
Or you can pick one up from Castle Leisure Centre. Alternatively phone 0161 253 6660 and leave a message with your address and number and a form will be sent.
