EWOOD Park will become an international venue again next season.
Blackburn Rovers are will stage England's England Under 21 European Championship qualifier against Wales on Friday, October 8.
Rovers secretary Tom Finn said: "It's a privilege and we are delighted to be asked to stage this prestigious international fixture.
"It is another great opportunity for fans in Blackburn and the north west to support the national Under 21 side.
"I am sure our fans will respond to this chance to generate a fantastic atmosphere at Ewood and make it a great footballing occasion."
Three years ago, in October 2001, Ewood Park played host to the England Under 21 side in their final European qualifier against Greece Under 21s.
On that occasion, a sell-out crowd of 29,000 saw Rovers' David Dunn lead England's young lions to a famous 2-1 victory.
