THRIVING business advisory group DTE is leading by example when it comes to producing record corporate results.

The Hollins-based company has reported a 37 per cent growth in turnover from £7.1 million to £9.7 million for the 12 months to April 30.

DTE has shown strong organic growth in areas of corporate finance and tax along with its traditional strength of insolvency, particularly from its city centre office in Manchester which opened two years ago.

Corporate Strategies, the group's corporate turnaround business which is also based in the city, has rescued more than 150 companies during the past year -- saving 9,000 jobs in the region.

DTE has increased its geographical coverage in the UK in the past year with the opening of a Birmingham office in January. The base is already paying dividends and complements the offices in Manchester and London after the merger with Kramers two years ago.

The group has also recently undertaken an extensive rebranding to help its positioning as a national player.

Commenting on the impressive growth, managing partner Keith Train said: "We have ambitious plans for continued development and the strength of the Manchester office is an indication of our commitment to move from a top 50 to a top 30 national firm."
