IF you can sing, dance or even pull a rabbit from a hat, you can audition for a variety show set to wow audiences this September.
The Talent Forum is presenting Perform for Keystone Haven at Bury Met Theatre, on September 9, with a special preview show next Friday (July 30) at The Garrick Theatre, Bank Street, Whitefield.
The forum is searching for singers, dancers, actors and musicians of all ages to take part in the performance, and auditions are taking place this Sunday (July 25).
The money raised will go towards Keystone Haven, based in Bolton, who care for terminally ill and disadvantaged children.
Forum treasurer Samantha Goldstone, of Hillingdon Road, Whitefield, said: "The talent forum is a non-profit making organisation, dedicated to raising funds for worthwhile causes while providing opportunities for talented people to perform.
"We do not believe that performers should compete with their talent, therefore the show is not a competition. However, each performer is asked to raise money by sponsorship from family and friends before the event and the person who raises the most money will not only win a huge trophy, but will also earn an extra spot on the show."
Samantha said: "In our first official show last April we raised £500 but this year we want to do better and reach £1,000. The more we raise, the better. So far we have 17 performers, aged between six and 73, who have a range of skills including comedy, magic, drama and music because we are a variety show."
To arrange an audition on Sunday, call Samantha on 0161 766 5221 or 07808 741408.
