A BAND of school pupils ended their school year by performing 20 concerts in two days - to help sick children.
Eleven Freddies' students got together to play at primary schools, retirement homes, churches, hospices and in the streets of Tyldesley and Atherton to raise money for children with leukaemia.
The brass ensemble made up of Nick Garbett, Matthew Taylor, Daniel Swindells, Chris Turnbull, Sarah Gaskell, Chris Schofield, Matthew Turnbull, Matthew Farrimond, Charlotte Garbett, Michael Collier and John Gaskell started their series of performances in the staff room and finished the following day with an evening blast in the Trafford Centre.
