TYLDESLEY Little Theatre took an end of season bow after scooping yet another honour.
Actress Winnie Evans was awarded a certificate of merit for her performance as Joyce in the comedy classic "Last Tango in Whitby" at a one act play festival in Glossop.
The prize follows on the heels of two nominations from the Greater Manchester Drama Federation.
Normally when members would be turning their hands to maintenance work in preparation for the new season they took the play, a part of their 2004 Mixed Grill show, on tour after it took the audience by storm.
The piece by David Tristram about a failed amateur dramatic society and featuring Winnie, Garth Waddup, Ingrid Folkard Evans and Ian Taylor was performed as part of a three show bill in the Partington Players' festival.
After the rare away match TLT are now preparing for the new season which starts in September.
