GOLBORNE and Lowton Township Forum future meetings have been set.
These are: July 27, 7pm, Lowton Civic Hall; August 31, 7pm, Heath Street Methodist Church Hall, Golborne; October 5, 7pm, Lane Head Methodist Church, Lowton; November 16, 7pm, Golborne High School; February 1, 7pm, Lowton Civic Hall; March 15, 7pm, Heath Street Methodist Church Hall; April 26, 7pm, Lowton Community Centre.
All meetings are open to the public and 10 minutes will be set aside at the start of each one so that local residents can raise any issues that affect where they live.
Township Manager Andrew Sharrock said: "We aim to provide local groups and agencies with an opportunity to come together and discuss issues affecting the community of Golborne and Lowton.
"The 10 minute session at the start of each meeting gives people the chance to say what they think about issues that concern them. But it is important to remember that the Township Forum only deals with issues affecting the community as a whole, not specific individuals."
Anybody who wants to raise an issue at any of the Forum meetings should contact either Andrew Sharrock, Township Manager, on 01942 776164 or Janine Morton, Township Co-ordinator, on 01942 776164.
