RESEARCHERS claim people across Europe act really strange when using their mobile phones.
A study of phone users in London, Paris and Madrid by Surrey University (www.surrey.ac.uk/dwrc/) showed very different behaviours.
Londoners took to setting themselves up in imaginary phone booths, with people shifting towards a safe spot.
While Parisians would quite willingly walk down the middle of the street chatting and city dwellers in Madrid were quite happy to hand over their phone to friends.
The most worrying thing was that many people said they could not imagine life without their phone and carry it around in their hand like a comfort blanket.
THIS year's Tour de France comes to an end on Sunday and one of the most dramatic stages has been captured by satellite, producing an amazing image.
Stage 16 of the Tour took place in the French Alps where an estimated 500,000 people turned up to watch the race up the winding switchback road.
And the SpaceImaging (www.spaceimaging.com) website has a satellite image of the cars, fans and thousands of tents lined along the route taken from 423 miles in space.
HAVE you got one of those nodding dogs that sit on the parcel shelf in the back of your car?
