BURNLEY boss Steve Cotterill has named a full strength squad for the club's training trip to Austria.
But French trialists Cyril Eboki-Poh and Lionel Djebi Zadi will not be aboard tomorrow morning's flight to Salzburg after being excluded from the travelling party.
However, as expected, all five of Steve Cotterill's summer signings will be making the week-long trip, the highlight of which will be two friendly games against German Bundesliga Two sides SV Wacker Burghausen and Munich 1860.
The Clarets will decamp to a specialist Austrian sports centre in Obertraun, around 40 miles east of Salzburg.
The highly-regarded National Sports Centre has previously been used as a base by several Premiership clubs, while Burnley's First Division rivals Plymouth Argyle and Stoke City have just returned from their own pre-season training trip there.
Meanwhile, Clarets chairman Barry Kilby has given an insight into Cotterill's mindset by revealing that a player's salary will this season be sacrificed in order to add to the backroom team aiming to keep the small squad at the manager's disposal.
The Clarets' pre-season training schedule has already incorporated such radical measures as ice baths to aid muscle recovery and Pliometrics - a training method promising increased power and performance.
And a club masseur will soon be appointed on a full-time basis to offer specialist treatment to Cotterill's first team squad.
Kilby explained: "We are trying to implement a lot of preventative measures and there is a lot of thought going into the science of things.
"We know we need to keep such a small squad on the rails as long and as often as we possibly can and that where the ice baths after training come in.
"But we have also advertised for a club masseur to go with the best modern thinking we can get.
"The decision has been taken to sacrifice a salary on the playing side to inject the cash into these preventative measures and hopefully the results will justify that move.
"I am very aware that quite often 20 per cent of your squad is unavailable at any one time.
"But we have made a decision to have quality in there, even though we are thin on the ground, and see how we progress." Kilby's own right hand man, chief executive Dave Edmundson, is urging supporters to also help Cotterill by boosting season ticket sales between now and the start of the Division One campaign in just two weeks time.
The Clarets have already shipped more than 8,100 season tickets, putting them well on course to achieve the budgeted total.
But Edmundson is hoping to ride on the feelgood factor surrounding the club following the five summer signings and the impressive midweek display against Everton.
Edmundson said: "The calibre of the players signed is an indication of the standard of player that Steve Cotterill can attract to Turf Moor.
"So, if we want more of the same, we have to increase our season tickets to give him the funds to establish an impressive squad."
Tickets can be bought now from the Turf Moor ticket office.
BURNLEY fans travelling to Austria should note a late change of venue for the club's first friendly game, as well as a change in kick-off times for both games.
The Clarets were due to face German team Wacker Burghausen on Tuesday July 27 in Gmunden, but due to torrential weather and a lot of matches being played on the pitch at Gmunden, the game will now take placeinEbensee, situated close by.
The match will also now kick off at 5.30pm (local time), rather than 6.00pm as originally planned.
Burnley's second game against 1860 Munich at Freilassingon Satuday evening will alsonowkick off at 5.30pm (local time).
