FANS of the TV programme Fat Friends are being offered the chance to meet the cast - and help a sick little girl.
Two year-old Eva Heeks, who lives with her family at Blackamoor Road, Guide, caught meningitis as a baby which left her deaf and blind and unable to walk, talk, breathe or eat on her own.
She has 24-hour care from her parents and respite support from Derian House Children's Hospice, near Chorley.
When the producers of the hit-ITV show heard about Eva's plight, they provided a day on the set of the show and lunch with cast members. And they also donated an auction prize - the chance of appearing as an extra on the show.
There is a reserve of £400 on any bids for the Fat Friends day auction, which will take place before the end of August.
Eva's parents, Ray and Julie, have already received over £7,000, which will help pay for a sensory room to comfort and stimulate Eva.
