A WOMAN and a schoolboy could be facing custody after admitting violence charges at Burnley Crown Court.
Kathleen Norwood, 34, of Colne Road, Brierfield pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding on February 2. She denied the more serious charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. The 15 year old -- who a judge had earlier ordered should not be named -- admitted possessing an offensive weapon.
Norwood was given bail for pre-sentence reports to be prepared. Her co-defendant was remanded to the care of the local authority.
Recorder John Finestein told the defendants they had pleaded guilty to serious offences and the fact reports were being prepared was no indication as to what sentence would be. He went on :"The court retains full power to deal with you as appropriate, including the possibility of prison."
