TOP marks for the Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety in targeting roads outside schools.
But I was surprised to see a mobile camera warden parked in the entrance to St Leonard's Primary School, Langho, on a Saturday morning after the school had been closed for the holidays.
This road, now a 30mph limit due to the school being there, used to be 60mph and is not in a built-up area. I suppose this explains the 5,900 speeding motorists and £330,000 in fines collected in just five weeks.
