A MAN who caused trouble at Burnley General Hospital on New Year's Day has kept his freedom.
Burnley magistrates were told how David Johnson, 21, was agitated and refused to leave. It took four security staff to restrain him.
Johnson, of Railway View, Blackburn, admitted threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Already subject to a community rehabilitation order, he was given a six-month order.
Mercedah Jabbari, prosecuting, said Johnson and his partner were taken to the hospital and she received treatment. Defendant was in the casualty waiting area and was told by security staff his partner did not want to see him. He was asked to leave, refused, became agitated and caused concern.
Rachel Adamson, defending, said Johnson had been leading a chaotic lifestyle.
