A VILLAGE footpath is to close for fencing work.
Warrington Council has issued a temporary order affecting the route in Hurst Lane, Glazebury, beginning on August 9.
It is expected the work on footpaths 136 and 139 will take about three weeks. The restrictions will be in force when the relevant signs are displayed and the longer alternative route will be via footpath 137 (Hurst Lane) Warrington Road, footpath 140 and vice versa.
